Bridget and Erica, who are behind the desk, are friendly and warm and are able to make your appointments seamlessly. Every appointment, I was greeted warmly and knew I was going to be looked after. I worked with my therapist, Joe, for almost a year on my frozen shoulder.
... P/T : Physical Therapy at Hawk Point is an excellent facility !!! ... I was involved in a near fatal car accident 33 + years ago and broke my neck . I've been doing P/T exercises for better than three decades ... so , I've dealt with many different facilities & therapists over the years .
It is rare that I award a 5-star rating, however, in this case I will make an exemption. The facility is very clean and the equipment is up to date. But what makes this physical therapy group stellar are the therapist Joe and Monica.
As soon as you walk in the door, you are greeted with the 2 friendliest people I have ever met. Bridget and Erica are always smiling and greet you by your name. Even when you leave they are so cheerful and answer any questions you have. I had Physical therapy at Hawk Pointe for 8 weeks for a knee replacement.
What to expect from your first cupping session
New to cupping? Here's the short version. What happens: the practitioner places cups on the skin — most often the back, shoulders, or legs — and creates suction (with a pump, or briefly with a flame for fire cupping). Cups either stay put for a few minutes (dry cupping) or are glided over oiled skin (massage cupping). A session is usually 15–45 minutes, often added to a massage or acupuncture visit. The marks: cupping leaves round, bruise-like circles that are normal and usually fade in a few days to a couple of weeks — they're discoloration from the suction, not an injury, and shouldn't really hurt. What to wear: comfortable clothing that gives access to the area being treated. Afterward: drink water, keep the area warm, and skip intense sun or a hot sauna right after.
