Dr Tim Nelson is a wonderful, experienced chiropractor, and really does a great job with all of his patients. He takes care of my whole family, including my 3yo and 6yo!!

I have been seeing Dr. Tim now for two years! I was terrified going in for the first time, but was recommended by a friend who trusted him and been going to for years as well. The atmosphere is not quiet and in separate rooms, but rather as a big open community.

★★★★★ — Lexie, Aug 2024

Dr. Tim is very knowledgeable and helpful. I’ve been in pain for more than 5 years. With his adjustments and Heit treatment, my pain is greatly reduced. There is also a laser treatment option for people suffering from neuropathy and other conditions that helps restore and heal damaged tissue.

★★★★★ — Amy, Aug 2024

Dr. Tim and his staff are fantastic! Very fun and welcoming environment where you’re treated like family, not just another patient. I travel often for work and need frequent adjustments and I couldn’t be happier with the care Dr. Tim provides. Highly recommend!!

What to expect from your first cupping session

New to cupping? Here's the short version. What happens: the practitioner places cups on the skin — most often the back, shoulders, or legs — and creates suction (with a pump, or briefly with a flame for fire cupping). Cups either stay put for a few minutes (dry cupping) or are glided over oiled skin (massage cupping). A session is usually 15–45 minutes, often added to a massage or acupuncture visit. The marks: cupping leaves round, bruise-like circles that are normal and usually fade in a few days to a couple of weeks — they're discoloration from the suction, not an injury, and shouldn't really hurt. What to wear: comfortable clothing that gives access to the area being treated. Afterward: drink water, keep the area warm, and skip intense sun or a hot sauna right after.

Cupping isn't for everyone — if you're on blood thinners, pregnant, or have a skin condition or bleeding disorder, check with your doctor first, and always tell your practitioner about health concerns before a session. This page is directory information, not medical advice.
