From the reviews
…He uses myofascia massage release, maybe cupping and other tools depending on what he sees that your back needs. He does a very thorough analysis of your situation. On the first appointment I felt 90% better than I have been feeling in a long time. I didn’t know I could feel this way in only one session.
…He used the cupping therapy on the majority of my injury spots, and piece by piece, the pain I used to experience started to go away. The numbness on my right arm pretty much healed and the feeling on the fingers starting coming back strongly, where doctors thought I needed to have surgery.
Peak Performance is fantastic. Dr Balderas gave me my life back. I had a bad car accident in August where I was rear-ended at a stoplight by a truck , I was unable to sleep at night due to headaches with neck and shoulder pain. I could not hold my 2 year girl old due to a frozen shoulder.
Go book an appointment with Dr. Forrest. He's super considerate and knowledgable. My back stiffness from a workout injury that bothered for half a year completely healed after a couple sessions. I like how he explained what might be causing the discomfort and used multiple approaches to deal with it.
What to expect from your first cupping session
New to cupping? Here's the short version. What happens: the practitioner places cups on the skin — most often the back, shoulders, or legs — and creates suction (with a pump, or briefly with a flame for fire cupping). Cups either stay put for a few minutes (dry cupping) or are glided over oiled skin (massage cupping). A session is usually 15–45 minutes, often added to a massage or acupuncture visit. The marks: cupping leaves round, bruise-like circles that are normal and usually fade in a few days to a couple of weeks — they're discoloration from the suction, not an injury, and shouldn't really hurt. What to wear: comfortable clothing that gives access to the area being treated. Afterward: drink water, keep the area warm, and skip intense sun or a hot sauna right after.
