I have to say, Paradiso Spa is the best place in town for massage services. I've been coming here for several years, and Nena is absolutely the best. From the moment you walk in, the entire staff is welcoming and professional.
I’ve been coming to Nena for a couple months. By far the best massage I have been able to find in a very long time!!! She has such great rhythm, creates such a peaceful ambience, and makes you feel so comfortable. Nena now already knows which parts of my back to work on more due to my line of work.
This is such a beautiful spa! The owner is so nice and takes such pride in her place! Every time I come I feel like I've gone outside of Hollister I love this little slice of heaven.
I would give 10 stars if I could. Nena and Valerio are heaven sent. 👼 They are so sweet, professional and caring. The way they care for you from the beginning of your massage to the end is amazing. I think everyone in town deserves to treat themselves to a wonderful massage at Paraiso.
What to expect from your first cupping session
New to cupping? Here's the short version. What happens: the practitioner places cups on the skin — most often the back, shoulders, or legs — and creates suction (with a pump, or briefly with a flame for fire cupping). Cups either stay put for a few minutes (dry cupping) or are glided over oiled skin (massage cupping). A session is usually 15–45 minutes, often added to a massage or acupuncture visit. The marks: cupping leaves round, bruise-like circles that are normal and usually fade in a few days to a couple of weeks — they're discoloration from the suction, not an injury, and shouldn't really hurt. What to wear: comfortable clothing that gives access to the area being treated. Afterward: drink water, keep the area warm, and skip intense sun or a hot sauna right after.
