“Didn’t know that to expect coming in but had a marathon that weekend and a pretty serious hip issue that made me question if I could even run on Sunday.”

From the reviews

One of the best massage therapists I have ever been to. Undoubtedly an expert on techniques ranging from craniosacral to myofascial release, especially due to his strong intuitional abilities. In the few months I saw him I noticed tremendous changes in my spinal alignment and posture.

I have a son, almost 13, who is a person with Autism. He’s very high functioning and very smart, great in school, etc., but really struggles with social interactions and executive functioning. I’ve tried a million different therapies and classes, etc. Many were great. Lots of wonderful people.

What can I say about Pal? He has helped me tremendously with issues I have tried to resolve for over 20 years. For years I have suffered from tight muscles and old sports injuries. I tried so many ways over the years to release tightness in my neck, shoulders, all my back, hips and more.

I have gone to Pal since 2010, first for treatment of sciatica, which through Pal's masterful techniques has been completely eliminated. He has treated me for shoulder, neck and back issues and I am currently seeing him to help recover from a hip replacement. Pal has treated my entire family.

What to expect from your first cupping session

New to cupping? Here's the short version. What happens: the practitioner places cups on the skin — most often the back, shoulders, or legs — and creates suction (with a pump, or briefly with a flame for fire cupping). Cups either stay put for a few minutes (dry cupping) or are glided over oiled skin (massage cupping). A session is usually 15–45 minutes, often added to a massage or acupuncture visit. The marks: cupping leaves round, bruise-like circles that are normal and usually fade in a few days to a couple of weeks — they're discoloration from the suction, not an injury, and shouldn't really hurt. What to wear: comfortable clothing that gives access to the area being treated. Afterward: drink water, keep the area warm, and skip intense sun or a hot sauna right after.

Cupping isn't for everyone — if you're on blood thinners, pregnant, or have a skin condition or bleeding disorder, check with your doctor first, and always tell your practitioner about health concerns before a session. This page is directory information, not medical advice.
