From the reviews
On my last visit to Dr. Oaks, he was not scheduled to see me. I’ve been coming there for a year and still was experiencing a tremendous amount of pain. The NP that I saw wanted to release me because I felt as if they were not doing enough to make me comfortable.
My experience was excellent!! The staff was friendly and very helpful in assisting me with completing my forms. Dr. Oakes was extremely patient with me. Answering my questions and addressing my concerns and explaining the procedure I’m going to have.
I think the Doctors and Nurses really gives good treatment. And are always trying to get each patient out of pain the best to their ability.
Dr oaks is a wonderful person he helps me in July of 2024, I had sever back and hip pain along with bulging disc in my lower spine, which set off my sciatic nerve starting on April 4 of 2024, which put me in a wheelchair. I was not able to walk or lie down flat. I finally got to Dr.
What to expect from your first cupping session
New to cupping? Here's the short version. What happens: the practitioner places cups on the skin — most often the back, shoulders, or legs — and creates suction (with a pump, or briefly with a flame for fire cupping). Cups either stay put for a few minutes (dry cupping) or are glided over oiled skin (massage cupping). A session is usually 15–45 minutes, often added to a massage or acupuncture visit. The marks: cupping leaves round, bruise-like circles that are normal and usually fade in a few days to a couple of weeks — they're discoloration from the suction, not an injury, and shouldn't really hurt. What to wear: comfortable clothing that gives access to the area being treated. Afterward: drink water, keep the area warm, and skip intense sun or a hot sauna right after.
