From the reviews

I was referred to Dr.Noah (goes by Dr.Z) by my colleague, who himself got treated by Dr.Z for shoulder pain. I can't thank him enough for this great referral. I have been living with extreme pain in my left leg for the past couple of years.

I couldn't be happier with my experience with Dr. Z. If you are having pain, please don't wait...just make the appointment! You will be so glad you did. Dr. Z's approach is different from anyone I've seen. During your 1.5 hour appointment, you are the only patient.

★★★★★ — Nicole, Nov 2022

I was 8 weeks into a 16 week training program, set to run my first marathon when I began experiencing a familiar pain in my left foot and heel. A prior occurrence of this foot pain completely sidelined my running for 10 weeks after receiving guidance from an orthopedist that taking time off was the only solution.

★★★★★ — Russ, Jan 2020

I highly recommend Dr. Zacharko (Dr. Z) to anyone looking for quality, cost-effective and personalized care. He recently treated my very severe and chronic neck and arm pain. This pain at times was debilitating. I received advanced treatments from Dr.

What to expect from your first cupping session

New to cupping? Here's the short version. What happens: the practitioner places cups on the skin — most often the back, shoulders, or legs — and creates suction (with a pump, or briefly with a flame for fire cupping). Cups either stay put for a few minutes (dry cupping) or are glided over oiled skin (massage cupping). A session is usually 15–45 minutes, often added to a massage or acupuncture visit. The marks: cupping leaves round, bruise-like circles that are normal and usually fade in a few days to a couple of weeks — they're discoloration from the suction, not an injury, and shouldn't really hurt. What to wear: comfortable clothing that gives access to the area being treated. Afterward: drink water, keep the area warm, and skip intense sun or a hot sauna right after.

Cupping isn't for everyone — if you're on blood thinners, pregnant, or have a skin condition or bleeding disorder, check with your doctor first, and always tell your practitioner about health concerns before a session. This page is directory information, not medical advice.
