I came to Oriental Accupuncture on 6/25/25, because I have chronic back and shoulder pain. I saw Dr. Lu, she throughly explained Accupuncture and what to expect. I had the Accupuncture treatment, and it really helped. My back pain was about a 8 when I saw her and when I left my pain was about 4.
Dr. Li Liu did a very accurate first visit, followed up the day after and again checked the progress on the second visit. The first treatment already gave good result. I truly recommend her for the care, knowledge and quality of treatment. Moreover the clinic is very cosy and clean and it is a pleasure to stay.
The services received was second to none and has been a game changer to my body. I was unsure at first that I would get a positive result but, I soon found that was not the case. Do not hesitate to schedule an appointment soon and you will not be disappointed😊

What to expect from your first cupping session
New to cupping? Here's the short version. What happens: the practitioner places cups on the skin — most often the back, shoulders, or legs — and creates suction (with a pump, or briefly with a flame for fire cupping). Cups either stay put for a few minutes (dry cupping) or are glided over oiled skin (massage cupping). A session is usually 15–45 minutes, often added to a massage or acupuncture visit. The marks: cupping leaves round, bruise-like circles that are normal and usually fade in a few days to a couple of weeks — they're discoloration from the suction, not an injury, and shouldn't really hurt. What to wear: comfortable clothing that gives access to the area being treated. Afterward: drink water, keep the area warm, and skip intense sun or a hot sauna right after.
