From the reviews
Hands down, FIVE stars! The sports medicine specialist, a DO, whom I saw for my bunion problem causing excruciating pain in my foot and ankle, insisted that I go to OCPT. I chose their Irvine location. The facility is in a modern office park. The office is clean, bright, airy and very functional.
I had an exceptional experience at Orange County Physical Therapy. What impressed me most was their evidence-based approach, combined with the personalized, one-on-one attention they provide.
I cannot recommend Pat highly enough as a physical therapist! After my ACL reconstruction surgery, I was initially worried about the recovery process, but Pat made all the difference. His expertise and personalized approach were truly exceptional.
Orange County Physical Therapy is an amazing gem in Newport Beach. I had torn my left knee PCL and was devastated as I could barely walk or do any activity without pain or a very annoying imbalance feeling. Dr.
What to expect from your first cupping session
New to cupping? Here's the short version. What happens: the practitioner places cups on the skin — most often the back, shoulders, or legs — and creates suction (with a pump, or briefly with a flame for fire cupping). Cups either stay put for a few minutes (dry cupping) or are glided over oiled skin (massage cupping). A session is usually 15–45 minutes, often added to a massage or acupuncture visit. The marks: cupping leaves round, bruise-like circles that are normal and usually fade in a few days to a couple of weeks — they're discoloration from the suction, not an injury, and shouldn't really hurt. What to wear: comfortable clothing that gives access to the area being treated. Afterward: drink water, keep the area warm, and skip intense sun or a hot sauna right after.
