I don’t even know how to start this… to cut this story short i am personal trainer and i workout vigorously throughout my days. I’ve accumulated knots and kinks on my upper back from daily activities, I’ve tried foam rolling, stretching, etc. but still those pesky knots wouldn’t just go away.
Stop everything, & check out One Point Acupuncture!! Amazing experience, very professional, great communication & patient with any questions I had. Samantha walked me through the entire treatment so I was aware of what was being done & explained what everything was for.
Samantha is absolutely incredible. I went to my first session with her, she explained everything very well afterwards she did cupping and acupuncture. I absolutely loved it. I walked in feeling stressed and walked out feeling calm and less tense.
What to expect from your first cupping session
New to cupping? Here's the short version. What happens: the practitioner places cups on the skin — most often the back, shoulders, or legs — and creates suction (with a pump, or briefly with a flame for fire cupping). Cups either stay put for a few minutes (dry cupping) or are glided over oiled skin (massage cupping). A session is usually 15–45 minutes, often added to a massage or acupuncture visit. The marks: cupping leaves round, bruise-like circles that are normal and usually fade in a few days to a couple of weeks — they're discoloration from the suction, not an injury, and shouldn't really hurt. What to wear: comfortable clothing that gives access to the area being treated. Afterward: drink water, keep the area warm, and skip intense sun or a hot sauna right after.
