From the reviews
Both doctors but specifically Dr. Murillo is very welcoming! I was really hesitant to receive treatment before coming here because of past experiences but here they changed my perspective on getting help! Dr. Murillo was super supportive in getting me help but on my timeline to ensure I felt comfortable!
Highly recommend! Dr. Murillo has been great to work with—knowledgeable, experienced, and very helpful in addressing my symptoms and helping me feel better overall. I especially appreciate their expertise in sports physiology and the additional referrals and recommendations they've provided to support my progress.
I suffered from a neck injury last year. It took 6 months of intense therapy and chiropractic care. This year the same pain resurfaced. I didn't want to go back to the original chiropractor as they were not sufficient. I found NexGen via Google. I saw other places but they seemed too commercial.
I was originally recommended by a coworker to NexGen due to my lower back issues that would cause pain/discomfort going down my legs that would eventually make it hard to even walk at times.
What to expect from your first cupping session
New to cupping? Here's the short version. What happens: the practitioner places cups on the skin — most often the back, shoulders, or legs — and creates suction (with a pump, or briefly with a flame for fire cupping). Cups either stay put for a few minutes (dry cupping) or are glided over oiled skin (massage cupping). A session is usually 15–45 minutes, often added to a massage or acupuncture visit. The marks: cupping leaves round, bruise-like circles that are normal and usually fade in a few days to a couple of weeks — they're discoloration from the suction, not an injury, and shouldn't really hurt. What to wear: comfortable clothing that gives access to the area being treated. Afterward: drink water, keep the area warm, and skip intense sun or a hot sauna right after.
