I have seen Dr. Koh for various injuries and ailments since 2006. Over that period of time, he has treated my back pain, shoulder injury, psoas spasms, neck pain and stiffness, plantar fasciitis, and most recently an injured sacrum with nerve impingement causing my right leg and foot to go numb.
This place is amazing!! My son had been having stomach problems and vomiting nonstop. His pediatrician was not able to do much for him and was suggested to take him to the ER. I called new hope and Dr koh worked his magic on my little one!
I walked into New Hope Acupuncture doubled over in pain & could not stand straight....after Dr. Ko's treatment, I was able to stand straight with diminished pain. The staff is phenomenal...I explained the severity of my pain & they were able to get me in the same day...unbelievably compassionate.

What to expect from your first cupping session
New to cupping? Here's the short version. What happens: the practitioner places cups on the skin — most often the back, shoulders, or legs — and creates suction (with a pump, or briefly with a flame for fire cupping). Cups either stay put for a few minutes (dry cupping) or are glided over oiled skin (massage cupping). A session is usually 15–45 minutes, often added to a massage or acupuncture visit. The marks: cupping leaves round, bruise-like circles that are normal and usually fade in a few days to a couple of weeks — they're discoloration from the suction, not an injury, and shouldn't really hurt. What to wear: comfortable clothing that gives access to the area being treated. Afterward: drink water, keep the area warm, and skip intense sun or a hot sauna right after.
