From the reviews

Just had an amazing Lymphatic Drainage massage with Stacey. She was absolutely wonderful. It was my first time having this type of massage and she made sure to tell me what to expect, asked and listened about concern areas, was extremely easy to talk to as well as feel comfortable with during massage.

New Albany Massage Therapeutics is an amazing place to get a massage! The space is warm, cozy, and very relaxing. Aimee is my go-to massage therapist, but I have had appointments with others there too. They always take time to see what my needs are, what areas are bothering me, or what areas I want worked on.

★★★★★ — Elaine, Feb 2026

I went to Stacey for a body lymphatic drainage massage to help with uncomfortable bloating, digestion issues, and puffiness, and I’m so glad I did. After our first session, I noticed a big difference. My body was less bloated and overall more balanced.

★★★★★ — Payton, Sep 2025

Stacey is absolutely incredible. I truly believe my post-surgical recovery would not have gone as smoothly without her. After surgery, I was experiencing significant swelling, tightness, and discomfort, and from the very first session, I could tell I was in the best hands.

What to expect from your first cupping session

New to cupping? Here's the short version. What happens: the practitioner places cups on the skin — most often the back, shoulders, or legs — and creates suction (with a pump, or briefly with a flame for fire cupping). Cups either stay put for a few minutes (dry cupping) or are glided over oiled skin (massage cupping). A session is usually 15–45 minutes, often added to a massage or acupuncture visit. The marks: cupping leaves round, bruise-like circles that are normal and usually fade in a few days to a couple of weeks — they're discoloration from the suction, not an injury, and shouldn't really hurt. What to wear: comfortable clothing that gives access to the area being treated. Afterward: drink water, keep the area warm, and skip intense sun or a hot sauna right after.

Cupping isn't for everyone — if you're on blood thinners, pregnant, or have a skin condition or bleeding disorder, check with your doctor first, and always tell your practitioner about health concerns before a session. This page is directory information, not medical advice.
