From the reviews
Emily is kind caring and listens to all your needs. She is knowledgeable and personable and you’ll want to keep coming back. This isn’t just any wellness place but a place in where you can receive the best care under a genuine and kind person.
Lower back pain had been the bane of my existence for a good chunk of my late 20s and I knew I had to so something about it. Over the course of our work together, Emily has been helping me navigate my body on my road of healing.
I’ve been seeing Emily for years now! Always love my experiences with her. She’s so educational and fun. I’m a hairstylist, I do powerlifting, strength and conditioning and have chronic pain. She usually tells me what I need to do to work on easying pain and strengthening my weak areas.
Emily is a miracle worker. Seeing her monthly is a necessity for my self care and all the stress I carry in my neck and back. I have yet to meet another masseuse like her - her technique is impeccable and her expertise and experience evident. Plus, she's a wonderful, caring human being.
What to expect from your first cupping session
New to cupping? Here's the short version. What happens: the practitioner places cups on the skin — most often the back, shoulders, or legs — and creates suction (with a pump, or briefly with a flame for fire cupping). Cups either stay put for a few minutes (dry cupping) or are glided over oiled skin (massage cupping). A session is usually 15–45 minutes, often added to a massage or acupuncture visit. The marks: cupping leaves round, bruise-like circles that are normal and usually fade in a few days to a couple of weeks — they're discoloration from the suction, not an injury, and shouldn't really hurt. What to wear: comfortable clothing that gives access to the area being treated. Afterward: drink water, keep the area warm, and skip intense sun or a hot sauna right after.
