I had an amazing experience at Natural Life! I came in for cupping on my back and acupuncture on different parts of my body, and I left feeling so relaxed and relieved. Chanel was the one who helped me — she was incredibly kind, knowledgeable, and made sure I was comfortable the entire time.
Acupuncture has completely changed my life! I started using acupuncture about 4 years ago when I injured my back. More recently though, I have been receiving treatments for chronic migraines.
Chanel has been treating me for some very serious medical issues the past 5 weeks. She has been very caring - texting me to follow up and see how I've been doing. The full body bioresonance scan she did for me helped to diagnose some important health issues that I needed to address immediately.
What to expect from your first cupping session
New to cupping? Here's the short version. What happens: the practitioner places cups on the skin — most often the back, shoulders, or legs — and creates suction (with a pump, or briefly with a flame for fire cupping). Cups either stay put for a few minutes (dry cupping) or are glided over oiled skin (massage cupping). A session is usually 15–45 minutes, often added to a massage or acupuncture visit. The marks: cupping leaves round, bruise-like circles that are normal and usually fade in a few days to a couple of weeks — they're discoloration from the suction, not an injury, and shouldn't really hurt. What to wear: comfortable clothing that gives access to the area being treated. Afterward: drink water, keep the area warm, and skip intense sun or a hot sauna right after.
