From the reviews
I have had a great experience every time I walk into the building. I've been seen by Dr. Joe initially just for acupuncture following a life of back & neck injuries but he also has utilized chiropractic in the last year as well, I leave there feeling like a million bucks!
James was amazing! We had a great consult before we got into the reflexology session. The session was so relaxing I ended up taking a nice nap. He was able to adapt to my physical needs and was cautious about what was uncomfortable in my hands and feet during the reflexology session.
I absolutely love my chiropractor Deer Holli Martin, she is very knowledgable in her field answering any and every question I've had. She has helped me many times with sinus issues, back pain, hip pain, knee pain and even pain in my wrist and fingers. Give her a try, you will never want anyone else. One other thing.
Kristen Hirsch is one of the very best massage therapists in the Quad Cities, and I have been a professional massage therapist for 18 years! Thank you, as always Kristen!
What to expect from your first cupping session
New to cupping? Here's the short version. What happens: the practitioner places cups on the skin — most often the back, shoulders, or legs — and creates suction (with a pump, or briefly with a flame for fire cupping). Cups either stay put for a few minutes (dry cupping) or are glided over oiled skin (massage cupping). A session is usually 15–45 minutes, often added to a massage or acupuncture visit. The marks: cupping leaves round, bruise-like circles that are normal and usually fade in a few days to a couple of weeks — they're discoloration from the suction, not an injury, and shouldn't really hurt. What to wear: comfortable clothing that gives access to the area being treated. Afterward: drink water, keep the area warm, and skip intense sun or a hot sauna right after.
