From the reviews
Love the therapists at NHFC! They are caring and competent massage therapists! You can’t go wrong with any of the 3 ladies. I even took my 5 month old in to see Mel for a craniosacral massage for his acid reflux and overall crankiness. It was a wonderful experience and even he seemed to enjoy it.
I have been going to Mel for years! Wonderful deep muscle massages! The atmosphere is welcoming and very peaceful. Would highly recommend!!?
Massage therapy at NHF is an added bonus to my regular adjustments. Special thanks to Julie and Dr. Lindholm for helping me stay healthy!!
Dr. Lindholm is the best. He took time to understand my situation and educated me on the way that adjustments contribute to my overall health. You can tell he truly cares about his patients. I also had a massage by Brandi. She was very thorough and had me feeling good as new. All of the staff here are wonderful!
What to expect from your first cupping session
New to cupping? Here's the short version. What happens: the practitioner places cups on the skin — most often the back, shoulders, or legs — and creates suction (with a pump, or briefly with a flame for fire cupping). Cups either stay put for a few minutes (dry cupping) or are glided over oiled skin (massage cupping). A session is usually 15–45 minutes, often added to a massage or acupuncture visit. The marks: cupping leaves round, bruise-like circles that are normal and usually fade in a few days to a couple of weeks — they're discoloration from the suction, not an injury, and shouldn't really hurt. What to wear: comfortable clothing that gives access to the area being treated. Afterward: drink water, keep the area warm, and skip intense sun or a hot sauna right after.
