The atmosphere is lovely. Warm light, soft blankets, and does not have any strong smelling oils all while you can have spa music or just the soft noise of a fan in your private room. The therapist I see (Kat) is so knowledgeable and good with communication during the massage.
He is the best. My mom's foot has been swollen for almost 3 weeks and she already went to a massage therapist and a chiropractic and her foot was still feeling some numbness/stiffness and only Mark took the time and really work on her right foot. He is a great person.
This may be my new favorite massage place. I chose the 90-minute Himalayan massage with Mark and could not recommend enough. He was ready for me the minute I walked through the door and he was very professional and knowledgeable.
Mark was amazing! I had a back muscle injury 7 years ago and despite 2 rounds of PT and other masseurs, it has always hurt. After one session with him, I was finally pain free! No more groaning when getting up in the morning or off the couch! I will definitely continue going there!
What to expect from your first cupping session
New to cupping? Here's the short version. What happens: the practitioner places cups on the skin — most often the back, shoulders, or legs — and creates suction (with a pump, or briefly with a flame for fire cupping). Cups either stay put for a few minutes (dry cupping) or are glided over oiled skin (massage cupping). A session is usually 15–45 minutes, often added to a massage or acupuncture visit. The marks: cupping leaves round, bruise-like circles that are normal and usually fade in a few days to a couple of weeks — they're discoloration from the suction, not an injury, and shouldn't really hurt. What to wear: comfortable clothing that gives access to the area being treated. Afterward: drink water, keep the area warm, and skip intense sun or a hot sauna right after.
