I have been seeing Dr Frank Ly and staff since 2008 in his practice in Berry Hill. That was back when he was in Berry Hill twice a week, I went there twice a week. I had NEVER had this done before and yes I was uneasy about it all.
I've experienced severe neck and shoulder pain since my teenage years. Doctor Ly has given me several treatments throughout the years and it has helped me tremendously with relief from my back and shoulder pain/stiffness. I now only have to get treatments once or twice a year if the pain even comes back. Thanks Dr.

What to expect from your first cupping session
New to cupping? Here's the short version. What happens: the practitioner places cups on the skin — most often the back, shoulders, or legs — and creates suction (with a pump, or briefly with a flame for fire cupping). Cups either stay put for a few minutes (dry cupping) or are glided over oiled skin (massage cupping). A session is usually 15–45 minutes, often added to a massage or acupuncture visit. The marks: cupping leaves round, bruise-like circles that are normal and usually fade in a few days to a couple of weeks — they're discoloration from the suction, not an injury, and shouldn't really hurt. What to wear: comfortable clothing that gives access to the area being treated. Afterward: drink water, keep the area warm, and skip intense sun or a hot sauna right after.
