If you are in need of chiropractic services please give this location a try! The doctor here is very informative, knowledgeable and he got me all the way together. I left feeling brand new.. I had the cupping and stretching done. I was a bit nervous but he made sure i was comfortable and at ease.
Last week, I visited this location in Bowie Town Center. I had a massage from Massage Envy Months prior, and was open to the idea of being seen by a chiropractor. To say the least, I am very glad that I stopped by!
I visited my favorite chiropractic doctor at Bowie Town Center, and I couldn’t be more satisfied with the care I received. The staff were professional and even pointed out posture issues I wasn’t aware of.
Dr.Stovall was excellent. I came to my appointment pretty nervous as this is my first chiropractic appointment. He throughly explained my results 3D scan. Although i thought the initial alignment will be painful. It wasn’t and I can feel a difference in my pain.
What to expect from your first cupping session
New to cupping? Here's the short version. What happens: the practitioner places cups on the skin — most often the back, shoulders, or legs — and creates suction (with a pump, or briefly with a flame for fire cupping). Cups either stay put for a few minutes (dry cupping) or are glided over oiled skin (massage cupping). A session is usually 15–45 minutes, often added to a massage or acupuncture visit. The marks: cupping leaves round, bruise-like circles that are normal and usually fade in a few days to a couple of weeks — they're discoloration from the suction, not an injury, and shouldn't really hurt. What to wear: comfortable clothing that gives access to the area being treated. Afterward: drink water, keep the area warm, and skip intense sun or a hot sauna right after.
