From the reviews
Being a client of COAST Physical Therapy was a pleasure from start to finish. I found the staff to be polite, knowledgeable and helpful. I came to COAST Physical Therapy with very specific needs and Dr. Pens immediately gave me plenty of time & attention to evaluate how he and his staff might be able to help.
The entire staff at COAST is amazing! I worked with Physical therapist Mike Oliver and absolutely loved him! He's great at this job and has a great personality to top it off! The facility itself is very nice also!
I've worked with Dr Gabriel Briggs on two knees (post surgery), neck and spine. Status: Both knees (including one partial replacement), I can press the heel of my foot squarely into my butt. AKA total recovery - at 68 years old.
All the staff at MVPT were phenomenal! I am recovering from knee replacement and I absolutely believe that without Ken and Ted and the work they put into me I would not be able to move nearly as well or be as strong as I am.
What to expect from your first cupping session
New to cupping? Here's the short version. What happens: the practitioner places cups on the skin — most often the back, shoulders, or legs — and creates suction (with a pump, or briefly with a flame for fire cupping). Cups either stay put for a few minutes (dry cupping) or are glided over oiled skin (massage cupping). A session is usually 15–45 minutes, often added to a massage or acupuncture visit. The marks: cupping leaves round, bruise-like circles that are normal and usually fade in a few days to a couple of weeks — they're discoloration from the suction, not an injury, and shouldn't really hurt. What to wear: comfortable clothing that gives access to the area being treated. Afterward: drink water, keep the area warm, and skip intense sun or a hot sauna right after.
