We saw this place on TikTok and Groupon. We tried it out and was definitely was not disappointed. I highly recommend this place. It was our first time getting a massage. We also did the foot reflexology and the cupping therapy. We felt very at ease and would definitely do this again. Go and get relaxed.
I discovered Mu Tao through Groupon. Unassuming on the outside. Clean and simple inside. The first time I went was for a 90 minute massage with lots of extras. Oh my gosh I cannot say enough wonderful things about Nancy. Best massage I ever had in my life! She covered every bit from head to toe.
Had the fire cupping. Interesting experience. Felt invigorated right after and slept well. Next day felt like sunburn and a little bit of body ache. My sister and I had the foot reflexology massage. Both thought that it was a little short and brusque.
Tried other places in town, but now I only go here for all my massages. Whenever I need a solid full body massage, this place always delivers. Everyone here is great, both male and female masseuses. Today I had Eva, and the 60 minute full body massage was excellent.
What to expect from your first cupping session
New to cupping? Here's the short version. What happens: the practitioner places cups on the skin — most often the back, shoulders, or legs — and creates suction (with a pump, or briefly with a flame for fire cupping). Cups either stay put for a few minutes (dry cupping) or are glided over oiled skin (massage cupping). A session is usually 15–45 minutes, often added to a massage or acupuncture visit. The marks: cupping leaves round, bruise-like circles that are normal and usually fade in a few days to a couple of weeks — they're discoloration from the suction, not an injury, and shouldn't really hurt. What to wear: comfortable clothing that gives access to the area being treated. Afterward: drink water, keep the area warm, and skip intense sun or a hot sauna right after.
