From the reviews

Geneal Dart has visited many physical therapists in the last year. Some of them were working specifically on back problems and not so much on strength and balance. Dr. Holt then suggested that I go to Mountain Land Therapy for my legs and the permanent nerve damage on my L5 vertebrae.

We love Mountain Land Physical Therapy! We were a little leery about switching to an “adult physical therapy facility” vs the “pediatric facility”, 45 mins away, that we’d been using. We are extremely happy that we switched! Danielle is incredible and so good at what she does!

★★★★★ — Jen, Apr 2019

This was the best medicine for my leg/sciatica pain. I was in the program for about 4 weeks going twice a week for an hour each session. The entire staff was awesome and they really care about each of their patients. Trina was great at working with my schedule and changing things as needed. My therapist was Brynne.

★★★★★ — Cameron, May 2021

Mountain Land Physical Therapy is fantastic. The staff are friendly and professional. Each time I visit, there is virtually no wait before being seen. The office uses technology to avoid paperwork and to simplify billing. The company sends text reminders for appointments. Schedules are flexible.

What to expect from your first cupping session

New to cupping? Here's the short version. What happens: the practitioner places cups on the skin — most often the back, shoulders, or legs — and creates suction (with a pump, or briefly with a flame for fire cupping). Cups either stay put for a few minutes (dry cupping) or are glided over oiled skin (massage cupping). A session is usually 15–45 minutes, often added to a massage or acupuncture visit. The marks: cupping leaves round, bruise-like circles that are normal and usually fade in a few days to a couple of weeks — they're discoloration from the suction, not an injury, and shouldn't really hurt. What to wear: comfortable clothing that gives access to the area being treated. Afterward: drink water, keep the area warm, and skip intense sun or a hot sauna right after.

Cupping isn't for everyone — if you're on blood thinners, pregnant, or have a skin condition or bleeding disorder, check with your doctor first, and always tell your practitioner about health concerns before a session. This page is directory information, not medical advice.
