From the reviews
I was so impressed with everyone at Mountain Land PT in Santaquin. The receptionists, techs, and PTs were helpful and friendly and quickly put my worries at ease. I went in with a recommendation from my doctor regarding some significant nerve pain issues I was having related to SI joint mobility.
My son went here for a shoulder issue and needed to rehab it. Never having been here before, we were skeptical. This office was super awesome and has been so supportive. They always lend advice when needed and continue to support him with any of his physical therapy needs.
I had such a great experience with Mountain Land Physical Therapy. I worked with Andrew and Chris who were both great! They taught me all the exercises I needed to take care of my issues and helped me get from a lot of pain to none. So friendly and personable and adjusted to my needs as I went along.
The staff at Mountain Land Physical Therapy are friendly and effective. They also start working with you gently, which I appreciated, as at my first visit I was in a lot of pain.
What to expect from your first cupping session
New to cupping? Here's the short version. What happens: the practitioner places cups on the skin — most often the back, shoulders, or legs — and creates suction (with a pump, or briefly with a flame for fire cupping). Cups either stay put for a few minutes (dry cupping) or are glided over oiled skin (massage cupping). A session is usually 15–45 minutes, often added to a massage or acupuncture visit. The marks: cupping leaves round, bruise-like circles that are normal and usually fade in a few days to a couple of weeks — they're discoloration from the suction, not an injury, and shouldn't really hurt. What to wear: comfortable clothing that gives access to the area being treated. Afterward: drink water, keep the area warm, and skip intense sun or a hot sauna right after.
