First time ever using Moonstone Massage Therapy. Saw Sandrea and I feel like jelly! In the best possible way she worked my muscles good. Had a 90 min session and cupping and a scalp massage and I just want to take a whole nap haha. Amazing! I also love that they are locally owned! Supporting my WS!
Krista, I had an absolutely lovely chemical peel with Krista. I was a little nervous prior to our session since I have combination and sensitive skin. She was gentle, efficient, and regularly checked in on how I was feeling through the entire session. I was completely put at ease.
Coral is amazing! I actually followed her to Moonstone from another practice and my experience here has been great! The front desk staff are always friendly and the space is calm and relaxing. Scheduling online has also been easy. Would highly recommend!
Krista was awesome! She had no surprises like steam or hot towels. She gave a heads up on everything. She was thorough and patient. My only regret was I had 30 min instead of 60 min. Next time though…
What to expect from your first cupping session
New to cupping? Here's the short version. What happens: the practitioner places cups on the skin — most often the back, shoulders, or legs — and creates suction (with a pump, or briefly with a flame for fire cupping). Cups either stay put for a few minutes (dry cupping) or are glided over oiled skin (massage cupping). A session is usually 15–45 minutes, often added to a massage or acupuncture visit. The marks: cupping leaves round, bruise-like circles that are normal and usually fade in a few days to a couple of weeks — they're discoloration from the suction, not an injury, and shouldn't really hurt. What to wear: comfortable clothing that gives access to the area being treated. Afterward: drink water, keep the area warm, and skip intense sun or a hot sauna right after.
