I’ve been looking for a good massage therapist for awhile now and I have found the one! Irene did a phenomenal job getting my body’s knots out, stretching me and loosening up my body. She knows where all the pressure points are and is super strong! I will definitely be going back!
OMG! I have been to Monets art of Massage three times now and each time has gotten better and better. Irene is a master at what she does and knows exactly how treat your body. It's almost intuitive, outside of any obvious knots you may or may not have.
I've had a ton of massages in my life, but this one was on a whole nother level. I usually book deep tissue because I deal with stubborn knots, and while other places have been okay, nothing compared to this. Irene worked through every knot on my back with such precision and skill - it honestly felt expert level.
Voted Stocktons Best. Irene truly has a gift of service and caring for all her clients. Highly recommend!!!!!
What to expect from your first cupping session
New to cupping? Here's the short version. What happens: the practitioner places cups on the skin — most often the back, shoulders, or legs — and creates suction (with a pump, or briefly with a flame for fire cupping). Cups either stay put for a few minutes (dry cupping) or are glided over oiled skin (massage cupping). A session is usually 15–45 minutes, often added to a massage or acupuncture visit. The marks: cupping leaves round, bruise-like circles that are normal and usually fade in a few days to a couple of weeks — they're discoloration from the suction, not an injury, and shouldn't really hurt. What to wear: comfortable clothing that gives access to the area being treated. Afterward: drink water, keep the area warm, and skip intense sun or a hot sauna right after.
