I have used Kelly at Momentum , along with her staff for years and cannot say enough about the professionalism and obvious experience they all have. They give undivided attention in a quiet, peaceful setting. I come out completely relaxed ( not wanting it to end!).
The instructor Kelly is a great instructor. She listens to her clients and helps them build a work out plan that fits their needs. The gym is really clean and has new updated equipment. You really felt like you are part of the family and the atmosphere is full of energy and has great vibes.
Shawna is the best! She has an amazing ability to tune into exactly what your body needs. I leave every session feeling completely renewed and like a million bucks. She’s professional, kind and incredibly skilled. Honestly wish I could see her every week!
What to expect from your first cupping session
New to cupping? Here's the short version. What happens: the practitioner places cups on the skin — most often the back, shoulders, or legs — and creates suction (with a pump, or briefly with a flame for fire cupping). Cups either stay put for a few minutes (dry cupping) or are glided over oiled skin (massage cupping). A session is usually 15–45 minutes, often added to a massage or acupuncture visit. The marks: cupping leaves round, bruise-like circles that are normal and usually fade in a few days to a couple of weeks — they're discoloration from the suction, not an injury, and shouldn't really hurt. What to wear: comfortable clothing that gives access to the area being treated. Afterward: drink water, keep the area warm, and skip intense sun or a hot sauna right after.
