From the reviews
I’m so thankful I found Megan! I’ve only done one postpartum session with her, but I’ll definitely be booking another soon. I have struggled with PPA and PPOCD since having my son last year, and she gave me a calm, supportive environment as we worked through calming my nervous system.
Preston's inquisitive evaluation of my needs holistically, and what I wanted to get out of that session, meant that he was able to precisely get to work an efficient manner.
Preston is great. Just before my first appointment with him I had pulled a muscle in my back. He really helped work out the knots.
What to expect from your first cupping session
New to cupping? Here's the short version. What happens: the practitioner places cups on the skin — most often the back, shoulders, or legs — and creates suction (with a pump, or briefly with a flame for fire cupping). Cups either stay put for a few minutes (dry cupping) or are glided over oiled skin (massage cupping). A session is usually 15–45 minutes, often added to a massage or acupuncture visit. The marks: cupping leaves round, bruise-like circles that are normal and usually fade in a few days to a couple of weeks — they're discoloration from the suction, not an injury, and shouldn't really hurt. What to wear: comfortable clothing that gives access to the area being treated. Afterward: drink water, keep the area warm, and skip intense sun or a hot sauna right after.
