I had Niki do the bar therapy for my back and it felt wonderful. A nice amount of pressure without it being painful. I asked for cupping on my shoulders which also felt great. MBT was clean, professional and the staff was kind.
There are amazing massage therapist and then there's Bobbi. She is in a league of her own. I've been getting massages my whole life. I've been to many places but never have I received a massage like Bobbi's. She pays attention to detail. She listens to your every request with educated information to give back to you.
I’ve been to many massage therapists over the years, but I’ve stuck with Bobbi for the past 3. Bobbi offers more than just a service; she offers an experience. Whether I go to her with an injury from gym sessions, or just needing to relax and melt the tension from daily life, Bobbi consistently exceeds my expectations.
This was my first massage with Niki after seeing her recommended on a local social media forum, but it definitely won’t be my last! Her technique was both relaxing and therapeutic, alleviating tension where needed but relaxing enough that I almost fell asleep.
What to expect from your first cupping session
New to cupping? Here's the short version. What happens: the practitioner places cups on the skin — most often the back, shoulders, or legs — and creates suction (with a pump, or briefly with a flame for fire cupping). Cups either stay put for a few minutes (dry cupping) or are glided over oiled skin (massage cupping). A session is usually 15–45 minutes, often added to a massage or acupuncture visit. The marks: cupping leaves round, bruise-like circles that are normal and usually fade in a few days to a couple of weeks — they're discoloration from the suction, not an injury, and shouldn't really hurt. What to wear: comfortable clothing that gives access to the area being treated. Afterward: drink water, keep the area warm, and skip intense sun or a hot sauna right after.
