From the reviews
As a regular bike commuter, I absolutely love having a quality cupping massage therapist nearby. Amazing customer service and ease of online scheduling makes Michelle unique. Despite the fact she's one of the only few certified cupping massage therapists out there.
I took my 96 year old father to Michelle Heinz because he had been suffering from a constant stiff neck for about a half of year. In one half-hour session she was able to alleviate his neck pain. It has been a little over a week and he still has virtually no neck pain. My father is very grateful, as am I.
I was a bit apprehensive about getting my first massage, but Michelle put me at ease immediately. It was a positive experience and I am looking forward to my next appointment. Highly recommended.
I felt great after my massage. Michelle is very friendly and accommodating. I highly recommend her to anyone that is interested I'm getting a professional massage.
What to expect from your first cupping session
New to cupping? Here's the short version. What happens: the practitioner places cups on the skin — most often the back, shoulders, or legs — and creates suction (with a pump, or briefly with a flame for fire cupping). Cups either stay put for a few minutes (dry cupping) or are glided over oiled skin (massage cupping). A session is usually 15–45 minutes, often added to a massage or acupuncture visit. The marks: cupping leaves round, bruise-like circles that are normal and usually fade in a few days to a couple of weeks — they're discoloration from the suction, not an injury, and shouldn't really hurt. What to wear: comfortable clothing that gives access to the area being treated. Afterward: drink water, keep the area warm, and skip intense sun or a hot sauna right after.
