From the reviews

Finding a massage therapist you can trust and come back to with the same outcome or even better is difficult. It took me a couple years but when I found Kate back in 2021 that all changed. Meta Massage & Bodywork is my #1 massage place.

★★★★★ — Marissa, Dec 2024

I’m pain free after my 60 min visit with Rose!! Meta is a gem in Milwaukee that everyone should know about. Bree and Kate are teachers of mine, at East West Healing Arts where they share their experience and knowledge to educate students in massage therapy.

★★★★★ — Marissa, May 2023

Fantastic massage with an incredibly skilled therapist, Kate! Kate mentioned that she and Bree tend to both see clients interchangeably, so sure I'll also visit Bree for a massage, as well, I just haven't yet.

★★★★★ — Anna, Jan 2022

I have been a recurring client at Meta Massage and each time, Bree has been able to tailor the massage to my specific requests and needs. She has been able to give me a stress-relieving massage one month and an energy-restoring one the next, which I take as the mark of a truly talented massage therapist.

What to expect from your first cupping session

New to cupping? Here's the short version. What happens: the practitioner places cups on the skin — most often the back, shoulders, or legs — and creates suction (with a pump, or briefly with a flame for fire cupping). Cups either stay put for a few minutes (dry cupping) or are glided over oiled skin (massage cupping). A session is usually 15–45 minutes, often added to a massage or acupuncture visit. The marks: cupping leaves round, bruise-like circles that are normal and usually fade in a few days to a couple of weeks — they're discoloration from the suction, not an injury, and shouldn't really hurt. What to wear: comfortable clothing that gives access to the area being treated. Afterward: drink water, keep the area warm, and skip intense sun or a hot sauna right after.

Cupping isn't for everyone — if you're on blood thinners, pregnant, or have a skin condition or bleeding disorder, check with your doctor first, and always tell your practitioner about health concerns before a session. This page is directory information, not medical advice.
