From the reviews
Today I went to Meridian Healing Therapies to help with an extremely bad tension headache and neck stiffness. I booked my appointment yesterday and upon arrival, discovered the entrance is locked if a massage is in session. It didn’t take very long before one of the therapist came to the door.
Natalie is who you want to see when no one else has made progress!!! She is like a muscle detective, finding that spot, you knowTHAT SPOT, that needs her ! Her fingers are so strong for manipulating tight muscles , and her RN degree knows just where all those muscles attach....Enjoy the experience 👍
I have been getting massage from Natalie for 2 years and I've taken my kids there for any sports related tightness they have. This has saved a bundle in doctor bills. Natalie is the most knowledgeable massage therapist I have been to. I would highly recommend Meridian.
I saw Sarah the first time in September 2023 while I was in town for a work trip. I had been struggling with general body pain, mostly in my lower back. I also had some difficulty walking and had balance issues. Sarah really seemed to care and was intent on trying to help me. I did have some relief, although temporary.
What to expect from your first cupping session
New to cupping? Here's the short version. What happens: the practitioner places cups on the skin — most often the back, shoulders, or legs — and creates suction (with a pump, or briefly with a flame for fire cupping). Cups either stay put for a few minutes (dry cupping) or are glided over oiled skin (massage cupping). A session is usually 15–45 minutes, often added to a massage or acupuncture visit. The marks: cupping leaves round, bruise-like circles that are normal and usually fade in a few days to a couple of weeks — they're discoloration from the suction, not an injury, and shouldn't really hurt. What to wear: comfortable clothing that gives access to the area being treated. Afterward: drink water, keep the area warm, and skip intense sun or a hot sauna right after.
