Why Meridian Energy Massage is listed — cupping is a treatment, not a Google category, so we only list a provider when there's real proof they offer it. Here's what we found: “ups, joints, areas of pain, and compromised circulation. Beyond addressing these physical concerns, it operates within the same meridian and point system employed in acupuncture, drawing from the core principles of TCM. Cupping Cupping…” source →

What clients say about the cupping here
“I have a knee missing some ligaments, an ankle I opted not to have surgery on and a hip that can flare up and lead to back pain - she didn’t need to know that, she found it all as she went.”
“He was professional and thorough, which I honestly didn't expect from a same-day appointment booked an hour in advance on a Saturday afternoon.”
“She made me feel comfortable, listened to my concerns, and knew exactly how to target the areas causing pain.”
“Experiencing so much pain really affects your quality of life, so having such a skilled and kind massage therapist that I’m also comfortable with is so valuable to me.”
“I also had no idea how much training massage therapists go through — Jonathan clearly knows his anatomy as well as anyone I studied with in pre-med.”
“I didn't want to deal with insurance or wait around for a physical therapist, so I decided to try a massage therapist for the first time — and I'm so glad I picked Jonathan.”
From the reviews
Jonathan is a lifesaver. Two days before my appointment I was in so much pain I needed crutches to walk, and I still had a bad limp the day of. I didn't want to deal with insurance or wait around for a physical therapist, so I decided to try a massage therapist for the first time — and I'm so glad I picked Jonathan.
I had the best experience at Meridian Massage with Lucy! This was my first time booking a massage so I was unsure of what to expect but it’s safe to say I left feeling immensely better than when I went in. Lucy was so kind and inviting.
I go to lots of different practitioners around our area to help treat an injury that I got in the Marine Corps a decade to go. I had never been to this place, but really needed a massage and they had a same day opening. I saw Lucy. It was one of the best massages I’ve ever had.
Lucy was amazing! I just mentioned a stiff spot in my back before we started, which she definitely gave it some extra focus, but she inquisitively found old injuries and catered her massage around them.
What to expect from your first cupping session
New to cupping? Here's the short version. What happens: the practitioner places cups on the skin — most often the back, shoulders, or legs — and creates suction (with a pump, or briefly with a flame for fire cupping). Cups either stay put for a few minutes (dry cupping) or are glided over oiled skin (massage cupping). A session is usually 15–45 minutes, often added to a massage or acupuncture visit. The marks: cupping leaves round, bruise-like circles that are normal and usually fade in a few days to a couple of weeks — they're discoloration from the suction, not an injury, and shouldn't really hurt. What to wear: comfortable clothing that gives access to the area being treated. Afterward: drink water, keep the area warm, and skip intense sun or a hot sauna right after.
