From the reviews

For the past year I have been seeing doctor after doctor trying to figure out what was wrong with my stomach. I met with Dr. Benco in December and I have never felt better. She did her research to choose the best remedies for me specifically, was very attentive and showed empathy through the whole process!

★★★★★ — Kady, Feb 2022

Monica is a true healer. She is compassionate, patient and truly listens. I started seeing her at the beginning of my pregnancy every 2 weeks. I credit her supportive therapy with acupuncture as the main reason why I had the best time being pregnant. I felt in my body, present and grounded.

★★★★★ — Stephanie, May 2024

Meeting Dr. Benco is like striking gold. She is the best of the best in what she does. She is kind, empathetic, brilliant and extremely skilled. Dr. Benco started treating me with acupuncture during my pregnancy to help with various issues such as stress, anxiety, a breach baby, and inducing labor.

★★★★★ — Jacqueline, May 2024

When I had covid, I reached out to Dr.Benco for symptom relief remedies, seeing that over the counter medicine wasn’t helping much with my symptoms. She was very thorough when she evaluated my symptoms to find me the best relief possible and sent me herbal remedies within a day of our Telehealth appointment!

What to expect from your first cupping session

New to cupping? Here's the short version. What happens: the practitioner places cups on the skin — most often the back, shoulders, or legs — and creates suction (with a pump, or briefly with a flame for fire cupping). Cups either stay put for a few minutes (dry cupping) or are glided over oiled skin (massage cupping). A session is usually 15–45 minutes, often added to a massage or acupuncture visit. The marks: cupping leaves round, bruise-like circles that are normal and usually fade in a few days to a couple of weeks — they're discoloration from the suction, not an injury, and shouldn't really hurt. What to wear: comfortable clothing that gives access to the area being treated. Afterward: drink water, keep the area warm, and skip intense sun or a hot sauna right after.

Cupping isn't for everyone — if you're on blood thinners, pregnant, or have a skin condition or bleeding disorder, check with your doctor first, and always tell your practitioner about health concerns before a session. This page is directory information, not medical advice.
