Mend acupuncture is my go-to when I am ailing and I don't have time to fool around with more conventional methods. I go; I get relief. I go; I get better. Works every time. Worth every penny. Molly is super knowledgeable and professional while being accessible and generous with her time as a healer.

★★★★★ — Jennifer, Jun 2024

Always attentive and thorough, Molly has been my accupuncturist for a few years now. She has helped with many physical challenges, and is super gentle, especially given my needle phobia. I highly recommend her expertise, in fact I have sent many family members her way with great success.

★★★★★ — Susan, Oct 2024

Dr. Molly is compassionate, knowledgeable and a problem solver. She listens to clients and focuses on their needs. You always feel better after seeing her. She helped with my back pain and relieved my husband’s issues so he is able to sleep through the night. She is a blessing.

What to expect from your first cupping session

New to cupping? Here's the short version. What happens: the practitioner places cups on the skin — most often the back, shoulders, or legs — and creates suction (with a pump, or briefly with a flame for fire cupping). Cups either stay put for a few minutes (dry cupping) or are glided over oiled skin (massage cupping). A session is usually 15–45 minutes, often added to a massage or acupuncture visit. The marks: cupping leaves round, bruise-like circles that are normal and usually fade in a few days to a couple of weeks — they're discoloration from the suction, not an injury, and shouldn't really hurt. What to wear: comfortable clothing that gives access to the area being treated. Afterward: drink water, keep the area warm, and skip intense sun or a hot sauna right after.

Cupping isn't for everyone — if you're on blood thinners, pregnant, or have a skin condition or bleeding disorder, check with your doctor first, and always tell your practitioner about health concerns before a session. This page is directory information, not medical advice.
