From the reviews

5 Stars! I recently saw Rhonda for the first time after being referred by my midwife to try acupuncture, as I have a breech baby and am hoping for another VBAC. I had never done acupuncture before and wasn’t sure what to expect, but Rhonda absolutely exceeded every expectation!

★★★★★ — Ashley, Apr 2025

Rhonda is amazing! Im doing IVF and my dr recommended I do acupuncture to assist in my fertility and egg quality. Rhonda is very knowledgeable, intuitive, and does her best to assist your body in doing what it needs to do to get the desired results.

★★★★★ — Elicia, May 2024

Rhonda is an excellent acupuncturist, I have been to many. Her needling skills are excellent. She also has a great demeanor and "keeps it real" as I like to say.

★★★★★ — Stephen, May 2022

Rhonda does amazing work! She spends time with her clients and checks every needle and cup positioning so you aren't ever uncomfortable. Do yourself a favor and get some help, especially if you are pregnant and need to have some tension release!

What to expect from your first cupping session

New to cupping? Here's the short version. What happens: the practitioner places cups on the skin — most often the back, shoulders, or legs — and creates suction (with a pump, or briefly with a flame for fire cupping). Cups either stay put for a few minutes (dry cupping) or are glided over oiled skin (massage cupping). A session is usually 15–45 minutes, often added to a massage or acupuncture visit. The marks: cupping leaves round, bruise-like circles that are normal and usually fade in a few days to a couple of weeks — they're discoloration from the suction, not an injury, and shouldn't really hurt. What to wear: comfortable clothing that gives access to the area being treated. Afterward: drink water, keep the area warm, and skip intense sun or a hot sauna right after.

Cupping isn't for everyone — if you're on blood thinners, pregnant, or have a skin condition or bleeding disorder, check with your doctor first, and always tell your practitioner about health concerns before a session. This page is directory information, not medical advice.
