From the reviews
After getting massages just about every where else in the area, I gave Tamy a try about 5 months ago. I can tend to be a tough critic but her and her husband, Dr. Kirk, are some of the most kind, caring, and knowledgeable people I have ever met.
My experience with McAnsh life-energy institute was amazing. My husband and I were having issues getting pregnant after a miscarriage. They did a zyto scan on me and found my hormones were all out of whack. Within 3 months of diet change and supplements, we were pregnant with our baby boy.
I have been going to McAnsh Life-Energy Institute for as long as I can remember (I'm only 17) and they have helped me so much!! Whenever I feel sick or out of alignment that's the first place I go to. I don't remember the last time I got sick. They have helped me and my family out a lot! I would recommend it to anyone.
Accidentally went here thinking it was Massage works. They were very friendly, provided me with tea and sent me in the right direction! Can't wait to go back and learn more about what they have to offer.
What to expect from your first cupping session
New to cupping? Here's the short version. What happens: the practitioner places cups on the skin — most often the back, shoulders, or legs — and creates suction (with a pump, or briefly with a flame for fire cupping). Cups either stay put for a few minutes (dry cupping) or are glided over oiled skin (massage cupping). A session is usually 15–45 minutes, often added to a massage or acupuncture visit. The marks: cupping leaves round, bruise-like circles that are normal and usually fade in a few days to a couple of weeks — they're discoloration from the suction, not an injury, and shouldn't really hurt. What to wear: comfortable clothing that gives access to the area being treated. Afterward: drink water, keep the area warm, and skip intense sun or a hot sauna right after.
