From the reviews
The wife and I had a couples massage here. We've never had one before. The staff was friendly and very informative a painless experience and actually quite the opposite I left the place feeling like jello and for once in 5 years my lower back didn't hurt and I realized I had blocked out some shoulder pain.
I just came from getting a massage from Cathy. It was the best massage I've ever had. She was very thorough and used just the right amount of pressure. My husband got a massage at the same time with Shannon and he was very satisfied as well. We're looking forward to our next visit.
Went today and received a massage from Teshia. I’ve been there before but today was my first time with her. Everything was FANTASTIC. I want all of my favorite people to experience what I did today. I left there feeling like a million dollars. Teshia will definitely have me as a returning client!
As a massage connoisseur, I can confidently say that Massage Matters did not disappoint! I opted for a 30-minute Swedish massage that focused on my head, neck, and back, and it was exactly what I needed. It significantly helped alleviate my headaches.
What to expect from your first cupping session
New to cupping? Here's the short version. What happens: the practitioner places cups on the skin — most often the back, shoulders, or legs — and creates suction (with a pump, or briefly with a flame for fire cupping). Cups either stay put for a few minutes (dry cupping) or are glided over oiled skin (massage cupping). A session is usually 15–45 minutes, often added to a massage or acupuncture visit. The marks: cupping leaves round, bruise-like circles that are normal and usually fade in a few days to a couple of weeks — they're discoloration from the suction, not an injury, and shouldn't really hurt. What to wear: comfortable clothing that gives access to the area being treated. Afterward: drink water, keep the area warm, and skip intense sun or a hot sauna right after.
