CHERRY at Massage Impressions in Carlsbad is absolutely incredible. I’m very particular about my massages since I’m in the gym constantly and always sore, but she knew exactly how to work out every knot and tight spot. Her pressure, flow, and attention to detail were perfect from start to finish. The only problem?
I booked two massages for my husband and I. We both did the combination massages. 60 min full body 30 min reflexology. We both had amazing experiences. We both like deep tissue massages and these ladies didn't disappoint. The atmosphere is very relaxing. The ladies don't talk much and they work hard.
My husband and I had foot massages tonight at Massage Impression. We used to regularly go to the previous massage place operating at the same location, and we like them very much. But, this new place, Massage Impression is over the top great! Best foot massage ever! So good!!! The decor is calmer, more relaxing, too.
What to expect from your first cupping session
New to cupping? Here's the short version. What happens: the practitioner places cups on the skin — most often the back, shoulders, or legs — and creates suction (with a pump, or briefly with a flame for fire cupping). Cups either stay put for a few minutes (dry cupping) or are glided over oiled skin (massage cupping). A session is usually 15–45 minutes, often added to a massage or acupuncture visit. The marks: cupping leaves round, bruise-like circles that are normal and usually fade in a few days to a couple of weeks — they're discoloration from the suction, not an injury, and shouldn't really hurt. What to wear: comfortable clothing that gives access to the area being treated. Afterward: drink water, keep the area warm, and skip intense sun or a hot sauna right after.
