From the reviews

As a curvy girl at a size 16/18, I was hesitant to schedule any type of massage because everywhere you look online shows size 2 models. So I reached out in my community group and got overwhelmed with suggestions of places (70+). However, Malec kept being repeated again and again by many women my size (and smaller).

I highly recommend Aaron. I was too shy to have a male massage therapist but was struggling to find a female massage therapist that was strong enough for the pressure I wanted. Aaron was recommended to me by a friend because she had the same problem until she met Aaron.

★★★★★ — Kirstie, Oct 2024

Aaron is an excellent massage therapist. He is very trauma-aware and creates a space that feels safe and respectful. He has an intuitive ability to find tension and adjust the session in a way that meets your body exactly where it is that day. He is always willing to make changes to make the session more comfortable.

★★★★★ — Liliana, Dec 2025

Very calming, private atmosphere. Aaron listened carefully when asking the reason for my visit and responded with very specific and effective techniques that left me feeling great. This is all new to me but I enjoyed such a positive outcome that I've already scheduled my next visit in a month. Highly recommended!

What to expect from your first cupping session

New to cupping? Here's the short version. What happens: the practitioner places cups on the skin — most often the back, shoulders, or legs — and creates suction (with a pump, or briefly with a flame for fire cupping). Cups either stay put for a few minutes (dry cupping) or are glided over oiled skin (massage cupping). A session is usually 15–45 minutes, often added to a massage or acupuncture visit. The marks: cupping leaves round, bruise-like circles that are normal and usually fade in a few days to a couple of weeks — they're discoloration from the suction, not an injury, and shouldn't really hurt. What to wear: comfortable clothing that gives access to the area being treated. Afterward: drink water, keep the area warm, and skip intense sun or a hot sauna right after.

Cupping isn't for everyone — if you're on blood thinners, pregnant, or have a skin condition or bleeding disorder, check with your doctor first, and always tell your practitioner about health concerns before a session. This page is directory information, not medical advice.
