What clients say about the cupping here
“Ever since I was referred to him ~2 years ago, I've seen him for mobility, strength, alignment, aches and pains, running injuries, being a human over 30 years of age, you name it.”
“He’s also extremely knowledgeable about how the body works and ways in which it adapts to different situation in and out of sport and how that impacts us significantly.”
“I found the visit to be very informational and I got a custom plan to use for warming up in my home workouts that has really helped my mobility.”
From the reviews
Jared is great! I've seen Jared for massage for almost 5 years now and training for 2+. The massages are always excellent. I always leave feeling so much better and with better mobility/range of motion. As for training, he is constantly learning and adapting his training style.
Excellent insight. Very knowledgeable. I would highly recommend for anyone on any level looking to learn about exercise, training, and body health.
As anyone with repeat physical issues knows, once you find a bodywork magician that *actually* understands what you're saying and *actually* makes your quality of life better, you hold on to that person for dear life. Jared is That Guy™. I've told him repeatedly I will follow him anywhere and pay anything he wants.
Jarod is completely amazing. I have referred him to tons of friends and they all say the same. He is totally amazing. As a former Ultimate Frisbee player, current runner and cyclist -- he keeps me doing the activities I love.
What to expect from your first cupping session
New to cupping? Here's the short version. What happens: the practitioner places cups on the skin — most often the back, shoulders, or legs — and creates suction (with a pump, or briefly with a flame for fire cupping). Cups either stay put for a few minutes (dry cupping) or are glided over oiled skin (massage cupping). A session is usually 15–45 minutes, often added to a massage or acupuncture visit. The marks: cupping leaves round, bruise-like circles that are normal and usually fade in a few days to a couple of weeks — they're discoloration from the suction, not an injury, and shouldn't really hurt. What to wear: comfortable clothing that gives access to the area being treated. Afterward: drink water, keep the area warm, and skip intense sun or a hot sauna right after.
