I received a 60 minute combination massage yesterday from Alyssa. This was my first time going to MT. I received a gift certificate for Father's Day. The place is very nice and quiet as a massage studio should be. Alyssa was at the front to greet me when I arrived. She asked about my trouble zones and went to work.
I received an ashiyatsu massage from Serena and it was amazing! I did the 90 minute session and added a 20 minute cranial massage. I have a lot of muscle and joint issues, so I was looking for a really deep tissue and this was it!
This was my second 2-hr deep tissue massage with Alyssa and both experiences have been outstanding. She takes time to listen to your needs and really does a great job addressing problem spots and adjusting along the way.

What to expect from your first cupping session
New to cupping? Here's the short version. What happens: the practitioner places cups on the skin — most often the back, shoulders, or legs — and creates suction (with a pump, or briefly with a flame for fire cupping). Cups either stay put for a few minutes (dry cupping) or are glided over oiled skin (massage cupping). A session is usually 15–45 minutes, often added to a massage or acupuncture visit. The marks: cupping leaves round, bruise-like circles that are normal and usually fade in a few days to a couple of weeks — they're discoloration from the suction, not an injury, and shouldn't really hurt. What to wear: comfortable clothing that gives access to the area being treated. Afterward: drink water, keep the area warm, and skip intense sun or a hot sauna right after.
