If you need a traveling massage therapist, please let me recommmend Paisley Dawn Parks 💙 My husband and I just had another massage session, and this time we added cupping. We black out the room, throw on some spa music, light a candle and off we go into relaxation. Paisley does SERIOUSLY good work!
Paisley gives the best massage! She helped fix my mid back pain with deep tissue and cupping! She knows where the pain is and can focus on areas that need work. Would highly recommend for athletes and strength trainers looking to loosen up their muscles and knots.
I would highly recommend Paisley! She has given me many massages over the years and they are wonderful! She listens to my needs and is very accommodating to help with whatever area you may have issues with. She gives the option of having your dog or her dog be with you on the massage table which is really cool.
What to expect from your first cupping session
New to cupping? Here's the short version. What happens: the practitioner places cups on the skin — most often the back, shoulders, or legs — and creates suction (with a pump, or briefly with a flame for fire cupping). Cups either stay put for a few minutes (dry cupping) or are glided over oiled skin (massage cupping). A session is usually 15–45 minutes, often added to a massage or acupuncture visit. The marks: cupping leaves round, bruise-like circles that are normal and usually fade in a few days to a couple of weeks — they're discoloration from the suction, not an injury, and shouldn't really hurt. What to wear: comfortable clothing that gives access to the area being treated. Afterward: drink water, keep the area warm, and skip intense sun or a hot sauna right after.
