From the reviews
Would HIGHLY recommend LymphWorks! I was "stuck" in my recovery after a surgery a few years back. I had recovered somewhat but not as much as the doctors told me I should be and the doctor said there was not much else they could do.
Lymphworks is such a great place to go for deep healing in the lymphatic system! I have been seeing Lindsey Longaker for two years consistently and have received both lymphatic drainage massages and cupping massages.
I had never had a lymphatic massage before but will definitely be back for more! CJ is masterfully skilled and I melted into the alternating deep tissue massage/cupping and gentle lymph massage.
I have received many types of healing treatments from CJ at Lymphworks and continue to go back year after year. I especially benefit from her expertise with reiki energy and emotional healing treatments. Whether in her office or remote, I always feel a deeper connection with myself and my healing process.
What to expect from your first cupping session
New to cupping? Here's the short version. What happens: the practitioner places cups on the skin — most often the back, shoulders, or legs — and creates suction (with a pump, or briefly with a flame for fire cupping). Cups either stay put for a few minutes (dry cupping) or are glided over oiled skin (massage cupping). A session is usually 15–45 minutes, often added to a massage or acupuncture visit. The marks: cupping leaves round, bruise-like circles that are normal and usually fade in a few days to a couple of weeks — they're discoloration from the suction, not an injury, and shouldn't really hurt. What to wear: comfortable clothing that gives access to the area being treated. Afterward: drink water, keep the area warm, and skip intense sun or a hot sauna right after.
