From the reviews

I went Luminescence for my first massage there. Ross did an amazing job. He listened to me as I addressed my problem areas. I had hom do cupping on my back and hips. I have to say he did an amazing job. He knew exactly where my pain was. He was very welcoming and professional.

★★★★★ — John, Aug 2025

Ross is an excellent massage therapist. I was in serious need of massage therapy after a T-bone car accident. Ross has helped to reduce my headaches, my neck soreness and also my lower back pain. I feel so much better than I did approximately 6 weeks ago. I highly recommend Ross for MT.

I recently found Luminescence Therapeutic Massage and have now had a couple of massages from Ross Glanc, and I highly recommend him! From the moment I walked in, Ross created a warm and calming atmosphere that immediately put me at ease. The massages are exceptional.

★★★★★ — Kristen, Dec 2024

Ross was very attentive of my needs. He listened to the areas I needed the most help with. He incorporated many techniques along the way and was very good about checking in on the amount of pressure being applied.

What to expect from your first cupping session

New to cupping? Here's the short version. What happens: the practitioner places cups on the skin — most often the back, shoulders, or legs — and creates suction (with a pump, or briefly with a flame for fire cupping). Cups either stay put for a few minutes (dry cupping) or are glided over oiled skin (massage cupping). A session is usually 15–45 minutes, often added to a massage or acupuncture visit. The marks: cupping leaves round, bruise-like circles that are normal and usually fade in a few days to a couple of weeks — they're discoloration from the suction, not an injury, and shouldn't really hurt. What to wear: comfortable clothing that gives access to the area being treated. Afterward: drink water, keep the area warm, and skip intense sun or a hot sauna right after.

Cupping isn't for everyone — if you're on blood thinners, pregnant, or have a skin condition or bleeding disorder, check with your doctor first, and always tell your practitioner about health concerns before a session. This page is directory information, not medical advice.
