From the reviews

I would highly recommend Aubrey for acupuncture as well as cupping. I came to Aubrey after a failed IUI & was undergoing a second IUI. She educated me on the basics of acupuncture, took a thorough history, and guided me throughout my entire course.

I see Aubrey for cupping and acupuncture for back pain. My SI joint pain is practically gone and I’m so grateful!! Professional and knowledgeable, she genuinely cares about your overall wellness. Aubrey is the best, 10/10 recommend!!

★★★★★ — Rielly, Aug 2024

Aubrey is the consummate professional. She always makes me feel relaxed, explains each step as she goes along, and checks to make sure I am comfortable. Aubrey inquires about any concerns and changes since my last visit at the beginning of each session.

★★★★★ — Deirdre, Aug 2024

Aubrey is a true professional. I have never done acupuncture before and my first experience with acupuncture has been phenomenal. She is knowledgeable and explains what she is doing and definitely makes you feel safe and comfortable.

What to expect from your first cupping session

New to cupping? Here's the short version. What happens: the practitioner places cups on the skin — most often the back, shoulders, or legs — and creates suction (with a pump, or briefly with a flame for fire cupping). Cups either stay put for a few minutes (dry cupping) or are glided over oiled skin (massage cupping). A session is usually 15–45 minutes, often added to a massage or acupuncture visit. The marks: cupping leaves round, bruise-like circles that are normal and usually fade in a few days to a couple of weeks — they're discoloration from the suction, not an injury, and shouldn't really hurt. What to wear: comfortable clothing that gives access to the area being treated. Afterward: drink water, keep the area warm, and skip intense sun or a hot sauna right after.

Cupping isn't for everyone — if you're on blood thinners, pregnant, or have a skin condition or bleeding disorder, check with your doctor first, and always tell your practitioner about health concerns before a session. This page is directory information, not medical advice.
