From the reviews
I am still amazed at the results I continue to receive from acupuncture! Despite the numerous recommendations to try Lotus Hands Acupuncture from friends, the thought of paying someone to stick me with tiny needles was less than appealing.
I have been seeing Katherine and Anthony for almost a year now and I have tried MANY other people and places! There are so many people out there that make do with a couple weekend courses and practicing on a few students but with Katherine and Anthony I know regardless of which one is treating me I'm going to get the…
Read great reviews so decided to try them out. Second visit. Will post results a little further down the road. So far, Katherine is very professional and friendly. Clinic is new and clean. 🤞Here's to great results! Update: After 7 visits, I can honestly say that my condition has improved 85-90%. I am quite relieved.
I developed central serous retinopathy a few years ago. I have tried a few different remedies to help with this condition, but i had not experienced any success. After visiting a new ophthalmologist, I had finally been given additional information and techniques to try.
What to expect from your first cupping session
New to cupping? Here's the short version. What happens: the practitioner places cups on the skin — most often the back, shoulders, or legs — and creates suction (with a pump, or briefly with a flame for fire cupping). Cups either stay put for a few minutes (dry cupping) or are glided over oiled skin (massage cupping). A session is usually 15–45 minutes, often added to a massage or acupuncture visit. The marks: cupping leaves round, bruise-like circles that are normal and usually fade in a few days to a couple of weeks — they're discoloration from the suction, not an injury, and shouldn't really hurt. What to wear: comfortable clothing that gives access to the area being treated. Afterward: drink water, keep the area warm, and skip intense sun or a hot sauna right after.
