I have been going to Khim Choong for 2 years now, and it was the best decision I could do for my health. 2 years ago I was dealing with a health issue that was misdiagnosed by Kaiser for 2 months. Eventually I was properly diagnosed and was diagnosed with a chronic condition. I got recommended to Dr.
Dr Khim has been amazing helping me heal my body! When I first saw her, I could not walk properly, sit or stand. I couldn’t sleep at night with pain, but moving was equally hard. I was becoming depressed and immobile due to the pain. For the last 6 months she worked with me to heal my body and now the pain is 98% gone.
Dr. Khim is wonderful! She helped me resolve very intense and complicated female hormone issues (including thyroid) over 4 years ago. It took a few months to get all of my organs and hormones working properly together. Since then I have felt wonderful, despite progressing thru menopause these past years.
I've been battling health issues since I was in middle school...While seeing many doctors, none could really pinpoint what was going on... until I met Dr. Khim. What to expect from your first cupping session
New to cupping? Here's the short version. What happens: the practitioner places cups on the skin — most often the back, shoulders, or legs — and creates suction (with a pump, or briefly with a flame for fire cupping). Cups either stay put for a few minutes (dry cupping) or are glided over oiled skin (massage cupping). A session is usually 15–45 minutes, often added to a massage or acupuncture visit. The marks: cupping leaves round, bruise-like circles that are normal and usually fade in a few days to a couple of weeks — they're discoloration from the suction, not an injury, and shouldn't really hurt. What to wear: comfortable clothing that gives access to the area being treated. Afterward: drink water, keep the area warm, and skip intense sun or a hot sauna right after.
