From the reviews
I have had chronic SI joint pain for some time along with the usual aches and pains of a 60+ person who stays active and still works. Audrey first listened to me about my current and chronic issues and together we agreed on a plan to address them.
I did not want my massage to end! Audrey is an excellent therapist, she intuitively knew the areas of my body that needed the most focus and attention. Clean surroundings and a peaceful setting, I can't wait to see her again.
Audrey has been a game changer for me. I have never been into massage therapy until this spring when I had excruciating lower back, sciatica, butt and radiating leg pain.
I had the pleasure of having a wonderful hour long massage with Audrey! She addressed all my concerned problem areas that we spoke about prior to my massage. She communicated throughout the massage about pressure and how I was feeling. I felt very confident in her knowledge, technique and style.
What to expect from your first cupping session
New to cupping? Here's the short version. What happens: the practitioner places cups on the skin — most often the back, shoulders, or legs — and creates suction (with a pump, or briefly with a flame for fire cupping). Cups either stay put for a few minutes (dry cupping) or are glided over oiled skin (massage cupping). A session is usually 15–45 minutes, often added to a massage or acupuncture visit. The marks: cupping leaves round, bruise-like circles that are normal and usually fade in a few days to a couple of weeks — they're discoloration from the suction, not an injury, and shouldn't really hurt. What to wear: comfortable clothing that gives access to the area being treated. Afterward: drink water, keep the area warm, and skip intense sun or a hot sauna right after.
