So GLAD I found T.Bryce at Lockhart Acupuncture! I went in because I had a constant pain in my groin & lower back. After the first visit I felt a huge improvement, by the end of the second visit I had no discomfort. & I went in for a third visit just to use my birthday discount & as a relaxation session.
I have been dealing with back issues for a long long time. Comes and goes and lingers on for long period. To the point it effects my daily task. Sitting, standing, walking, putting on shoes, sleeping, etc... Today I visited and was treated by Tym Bryce. My experience was amazing.
No matter your age or health, you should consider this if you're interested in alternative health. I started looking into alternative health when my children got grown. i got tired of continually being given more prescriptions that caused more problems, and that were being recalled on a regular basis.
Great experience! Tym was professional and down-to-earth. My issues cleared up after a couple of sessions. Price was very reasonable and I liked the cool use of technology during the intake. It was very different than other acupuncturist I've been to. I will definitely use him again!
What to expect from your first cupping session
New to cupping? Here's the short version. What happens: the practitioner places cups on the skin — most often the back, shoulders, or legs — and creates suction (with a pump, or briefly with a flame for fire cupping). Cups either stay put for a few minutes (dry cupping) or are glided over oiled skin (massage cupping). A session is usually 15–45 minutes, often added to a massage or acupuncture visit. The marks: cupping leaves round, bruise-like circles that are normal and usually fade in a few days to a couple of weeks — they're discoloration from the suction, not an injury, and shouldn't really hurt. What to wear: comfortable clothing that gives access to the area being treated. Afterward: drink water, keep the area warm, and skip intense sun or a hot sauna right after.
